Back to SOBA OTOME Academy

Learn investing by asking.

One of the ways the Academy teaches: talk it through with an AI Otome. NISA, regular contributions, market news, the terms and the way to size a risk — taken one piece at a time.

Closed beta, open nowStart the chat No invite code?

You need an account and a confirmed invite code. You can ask 20 questions a day.
During the closed beta you can talk with NASU-Nana, who covers US tech stocks and indices. Kawasein Sera, Tsukiyo Ado and Kinnomiya Inori will follow.

LEARN WITH AI

🗨️「I want to start investing but I have no idea where to begin…」
💬 AI Otome「Let us split it into terms, schemes and risk, and take them one at a time.」

Mock-up

How to start, and the rules of the beta.

You need an account and a confirmed invite code. Every time below is Japan time.

STEP 01

Sign in or register

Your question count and your feedback are kept per account, so an account comes first.

STEP 02

Confirm your invite code

The beta is invite-only. The code is confirmed after you sign in.

STEP 03

Start the chat

Once it is confirmed, there is a short welcome and then the chat itself.

About the daily limit

  • You can ask 20 questions a day.
  • The count resets at midnight, Japan time.
  • Anything you do not use does not carry over.
  • A connection error or a cancelled request does not count.

What learning this way actually gets you.

These are the kinds of openings people start with.

A place to ask about the thing you do not know.

Interested in investing but unsure what to even ask. A word from the news or a timeline that meant nothing to you. The point is that you can start a conversation from exactly there.

For anyone new, and a little afraid of it

🗨️「Investing kind of scares me. I do not know where to start.」
💬 NASU-Nana「That is a completely natural way to feel. Let us separate the terms, the schemes and the way to think about risk, and take them one at a time.」

Mock-up

— The worry and the jargon, one piece at a time.

For anyone who has started, but whose knowledge is still in pieces

🗨️「Everyone keeps saying the yen is weak — what does that actually have to do with me?」
💬 Kawasein Sera「A weaker yen touches import prices, travel abroad, and anything you hold in another currency. Start with what changes when the yen is worth less.」

Mock-up

— The news, connected to your life and to the market.

For anyone who reads the news and ends up less sure

🗨️「Gold is supposed to be a safe asset. How is that different from a stock?」
💬 Kinnomiya Inori「Gold is not backed by a company’s profits — it gets read against currencies, nerves and interest rates. Let us start with why people buy it at all.」

Mock-up

— A way of thinking, rather than an answer.

Knowledge, connected — then untangled in conversation.

Most AI answers a question with something that sounds about right. With money, "about right" is dangerous. We insist on building the ground by hand underneath the answers.

PROCESS 01

1. Gather

Public material, official sources and good teaching, collected widely.

PROCESS 02

2. Chew it over — by hand

Every piece checked: is this a fact, an opinion, or simply out of date? Nothing is copied across as it stands.

PROCESS 03

3. Connect

Scattered facts tied together under ideas like cutting a loss, position sizing and risk, into a map a beginner will not get lost in.

PROCESS 04

4. Talk

And then an AI Otome explains it, in plain words.

How the pieces relate to each other — and how one question points at the next thing worth learning.

KNOWLEDGE NETWORK / DEVELOPMENT IMAGE

How is this different from any other AI chat?

Throwing a question at a general AI tends to scatter the answer — assuming you knew how to ask in the first place. This is built to untangle that, as a way into learning rather than a way to look things up.

You can start without knowing how to ask.

Most AI expects you to ask well. This one assumes you are starting from "I do not even know what to ask first".

It stays inside investment learning.

Not general chat: terms, schemes, market news, risk and what order to learn them in, connected to each other.

Four Otome, four ways in.

US equities and indices, currencies, crypto, gold and commodities — start from whichever market you are curious about.

It supports understanding, not a decision to trade.

No investment advice, no trading instructions, no solicitation, no recommendations, no promised returns. It sets out the material you need to think with.

Which is exactly why it suits people who are starting out — or starting over.

If you do not have an invite code.

The beta is invite-only. Send us a DM on X and we will send you one.

What the closed beta is for

Three things: whether the conversation is actually clear, whether the wording stays safely away from sounding like advice, and how well each of the four Otome guides you. Your feedback is how we find out.

CLOSED BETA / INVITE ONLY

  2. Send a DM asking for an invite code
  3. We reply with your code

Invite codes are free. It may take us a little while to get back to you.

Common questions.

The daily limit, invites, and what an AI answer is and is not. All of it reflects the current design, and every time is Japan time.

How many questions can I ask a day?+

In the closed beta, 20 a day.

When does the count reset?+

At midnight, Japan time. Anything you did not use does not carry over.

What actually uses one up?+

An answer counts once it has come back in full. Connection errors, timeouts, failed generations, cancelling partway and resending the same request do not count.

What happens when I run out?+

No more questions that day. After midnight, Japan time, you can carry on.

Where do I get an invite code?+

The beta is invite-only. Follow @sobaotome on X and send a DM saying you would like a code, and we will reply with one. Codes are free.

Is an AI answer investment advice?+

No. This is for education, study and reference. It does not give investment advice or trading instructions, does not solicit financial products, does not recommend securities and guarantees no returns. AI answers can be wrong, so check anything that matters yourself.

Where do I rate an answer or send feedback?+

Each answer in the chat has good / not good / copy. Feedback on the service as a whole goes by email, from the feedback link in the chat.

An AI can be wrong. Check anything that matters.
