that is not your fault.
Almost everything written about investing is written for people who already understand it. One term gets explained with another, and by the end you have forgotten what you came to ask. We have watched a lot of people decide, at that point, that it is not for them.
Most of it is perfectly understandable if you take it apart in order. What is missing is not ability. It is someone willing to stop at the place you got stuck and stay there until it makes sense.
That is what the Academy is for.
